Join Us for Take Your Child to Work Day

Get ready for a fun day at EDF Renewables if you wish to participate in the National Take Your Child to Work Day!
This is your chance to bring your child to our San Diego office and show them firsthand what it’s like for you to work at EDFR.

This year's event will be self-guided, with children ages 8-18 only.
There will be no organized events by business units this year.

Guidelines

  • Children must be between the ages of 8-18 and supervised by you while on campus for safety purposes.
  • Registration is REQUIRED by Friday, April 5th to participate.
  • This event is exclusively for EDFR employees.
  • Your child must stay with you throughout the day, giving them the chance to shadow you and experience your work firsthand.
  • Inform your supervisor about your child's presence in your department.
  • While we want your child to have a great time; please be mindful of any confidential information that may be present in the workplace.
  • You'll be responsible for your child's lunch. You have the option of paying for their Fooda lunch in the Fooda app in advance or ordering in-person with Apple Pay or credit.

Logistics

  • Your first stop on campus will be the Reception Desk to pick up your child's name tag/lanyard and their special Earth Week goodie bag!
  • Don't forget to capture the moment at our EDFR Step & Repeat backdrop in the courtyard. It's the perfect spot for some amazing photos!
  • To make the most of your child's day, plan in advance:
    • Set up meet 'n greets with members of your team, especially those whose job/role may be of specific interest to your child.
    • Ask a colleague if they would be willing to give your child a brief tour of their workspace. It's a great way for them to see different aspects of our company.
